Our school is situated in Koottumangalam, near by the Arabian Seashore and very nearer to the Arulmigu Bagavathi Amman Temple, Mondaikadu in Kanyakumari District, Tamilnadu state. Our school was established on the year 2013. On those days English medium education was very rare for village people. Hence as a challenging Endeavour the Chairman of Sree Krishna Education Trust Thiru.S.K.Manikantan started this school in the village covered area in his own premises with lot of risks.

Very few pupils at the origin time and gradually by the sincere efforts and hard works of our chairman the strength of students increasing and reach up more than 235 students at present. Our leader is Thiru.S.K.Manikantan the Founder & Chairman with, Thiru.M.Rajeesh Krishnan Correspondent, Thiru.P.Thangaswamy The Principal (RTD HM), well experienced teaching, non-teaching faculty. The pleasant administration, and public participations and calm school environmental nature is fetching students.

Good teaching-learning maintenance, co-curricular activities attachment, periodical field trips for young buds, practical applications of learning methodologies in academic side and students teachers consultations, teachers-principal discussions, parent-teachers join sittings, special programes for backward students, direct visit to industrial units, Banks, Educational exhibitions in non academic side captures the minds of the parents.

Planned building construction with required Electrification, sufficient Bench, Desk facilities, Fans, Drinking water arrangements, spacious English lab, Computer classes, Smart classes, together with Yoga, Music, Dance, Art and Craft classes, Silambam, Karate practices for our children both for their mental and physical development offered by our school brings satisfaction to the top officials concerned

Sree Krishna Education Trust offers timely helping hands in time to those who are in need. Frequent orphanages visit, deserted homes visit, rehabilitation centers visit, and physically challenged people homes visit. (Ex: Manolayam, Santhi Nilayam visits) irrespective of caste, religion disparities. Recently two Muslim widows are too benefited. This kind hearted tendency obtains goodwill among general public.

Our correspondent’s view is not only concentrated on individual’s welfare but also for the improvement of the society and bestows helps for which up to his capacity. He is silently helping lot of poor students every year by offering free education without advertisement. many other school going students are also being benefited by our correspondent.

Further our correspondent is participating many social oriented movements. (Ex: Camp for Tsunami affected people, Flood and Drought relief camps, public awareness programes etc.). So our is called as Ashram (the resort for poor students) by many of people around of the school.

Sree Krishna Education Trust is maintaining accounts in the name of Sree Vivekananda Matric School and is being duly audited every year.
